Cheesy sung jingles were removed and replaced with a full range of spoken drops, allowing the station’s message and personality to shine through. Playlist music became king, rather than station jingles, and the witty drops were updated to react to topical events and listener suggestions. The changeover was achieved in one smooth weekend and universally approved of by listeners and presenters alike.
