BBC Asian Network have announced changes to their daytime line-up, and have commissioned Fresh Air Production to produce their new Early Breakfast Show.
After two years of making their Devotional Sounds programmes, the station have decided to extend the weekday offering to two hours. 5am - 6am will still consist of Devotional music for the Islamic, Sikh and HIndu communities, but will be presented live. The 6am - 7am hour will be a playlisted show with the same presenter waking up the listeners and getting them ready for Adil Ray at brakfast.
The presenter has yet to be announced, but the shows will be studio produced by Fresh Air’s Vikesh Patel.
It’s a very exciting extension to Fresh Air’s relationship with the Asian Network and we can’t wait to get it underway.
