Tonight, Fresh Air’s latest music documentary goes on air on BBC Radio 2. “Thriller: Michael Jackson’s Masterpiece” is the story of the biggest selling album of all time - how it was made, how it changed music, and how it nearly all fell apart. There are exclusive interviews with producer Quincy Jones, writer Rod Temperton and guitarist Steve Lukather, as well as the men who were running MTV and Jackson’s record label at the time.
We’ve been working on it for months and we’re really proud of the result. It’s choice of the day in all today’s papers as well as being featured heavily in The Radio Times.
