BBC Asian Network launched its new weekday schedule today, starting with Waqas Saeed - “Wax” -  produced by Fresh Air.
The new show incorporates “Devotional Sounds” in the first hour, and then the brand new show from 6-7am. Wax is a fresh and very talented young presenter who’s moved from being Adil Ray’s sidekick to having his own show. Features include the brilliantly named “Wax Lyrical” and the slightly odd “Mohammed, Michael and Malkit Mondays”, but mainly it’s about Wax telling you whatever’s in his own unique head.
With Fresh Air’s Vikesh producing in the studio and Neil Exec-producing he’s in great hands.
