Neil Cowling provided the in-your-face start the show needed, using commentary clips to tell the story and carve out the rhythm.

The first day of Sven’s reign as England manager. Part of the press conference focused on how to properly pronounce his name, leading to the construction of this short parody. Taken up immediately by Five Live’s “Sport on Five” and the “Radio 1 Breakfast Show”, this has been repeated on air many times since to coincide with England games.
T-Mobile Matchday Drops

T-Mobile’s sponsorship of match commentaries required short ear-catching branding drops to be scattered across the show. These drops are tone-less to be played on their own or over music beds.
